Meet the Doctor

"Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my background."

I'm Dr. Michele Foxworthy,. I grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, where I attended Dearborn High School and Henry Ford Community College. In high school, I developed a strong interest in Health & Wellness. This was the beginning of my path into chiropractic. I attended Sherman Chiropractic College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where I received my doctorate in Chiropractic and have been licensed since 1983.

Now, married and a mother of 3  (all born naturally and drug free), I am dedicated to sharing the benefits of Chiropractic Care entire families

Since graduating from Chiropractic College in 1983, Farmington has been my sole practice location, where I've become a leading Female Chiropractor.

I use a "whole person approach" when taking care of patients by combining the very best & developed "hands-on" techniques with flexibility & strength supporting exercises.

My practice focuses on the conservative management of Neuro-Musculoskeletal conditions of the body and work with today's most common troublesome health concerns such as neck pain, headaches, back pain, sciatica, arm pain, leg pain, neuralgias like "pinched nerves", spinal joint problems, disc disorders and muscular pain syndromes to name a few.

I provide hands on spinal adjustments, manipulations utilizing such techniques as Thompson, Pierce, Diversified, Gonstead, Palmer, Upper Cervical, Drop, Toggle.  For Babies and Seniors, with delicate spines, I use a hand held adjusting instrument "Impulse" which gives a very gentle adjusting thrust. Spinal decompression (Cox)/flexion distraction, Trigger Point Therapy.

My special interests in practice include back fitness, rehabilitative exercise, spine hygiene education, posture, body mechanics, ergonomic/occupational factors, core strengthening, nutrition.

My personal special interest is my passion for horses. This is my primary form of exercise & cardio training. Dressage is the discipline in which I train and show my Canadian Warmblood-Waltman. He also receives regular spinal adjustments!

My education in the Art, Science, Philosophy of Chiropractic advances every year with continuing education symposiums.  The advancement of Chiropractic is accelerating at a fast pace and I don't think my education will ever end. I am dedicated to relieving your pain & maintaining your Health & Wellness.
